Common causes of back pain & how to get relief without surgery

The spine likes to move. It was made to move, and good movement will keep it
healthy.

Certain professions/activities interfere with this natural movement and can cause
serious pain and symptoms and if treatment is not sought, eventually surgery may be
the only solution.

So what are the common causes and what treatments can give relief whilst avoiding
expensive, time consuming and painful surgery.

Often it is your profession, or the type of activities that you do every day.

Here is a short list of common professions, and positions, which often cause spinal issues:

  • Dentists  –  Awkward positions held to long periods of time
  • Security guards  –  Lack of movement or variation to the spinal position
  • Drivers  –  Incorrect seating for prolonged periods
  • Nurses/health care workers  –  Lifting and moving at the same time
  • Office workers  –  Static positions for long periods
  • Trades  –  Heavy and often repetitive tasks performed with incorrect posture positions
  • Mechanics  –  Prolonged period of incorrect posture
  • Chefs  –  Working in the predominantly forward bending position
  • Childcare workers  –  Bending and lifting of moving objects
  • Hairdressers – Standing or sitting, for long periods of time, often with arms raised

If you are involved with these types of professions, or anything that involves repetitive movement whilst in an incorrect posture position, you are very likely to eventually have spinal issues.

The spine was meant to move freely and not do repetitive, static or weight bearing tasks.

So, what happens?

Over time spinal discs, which are the cushions or shock absorbers between your spinal bones, may be damaged, compressed or they may even break.

These conditions are called compressed, bulging or herniated discs.

The only relief is through movement and the reversal of the pressure, to give these disc(s) the opportunity to heal themselves and once again provide the support to the spine to move freely and be pain free.

If treatment is not sought, these conditions will only get worse, and this is when surgery may be the only solution offered to you by your doctor.

There is another way though, with Non Surgical Spinal Decompression, and it is a non invasive and gently treatment to relieve your pain before any decisions are made to proceed with invasive surgery.

It can also be used as a preventative for those who are unable to change these incorrect spinal activities.  With the pressures on the spinal structure day in and day out, most people could do with a good stretch.

Have a look at how it works and why it has been so effective worldwide for so many years.

NON SURGICAL SPINAL CARE
OFFERS AN ALTERNATIVE TO SURGERY

Treatments are extremely gentle, non invasive and suitable for chronic conditions in the cervical (neck) and lumbar (lower back) regions of the spine.

Conditions most responsive are lower back and neck pain, sciatica, arm and/or leg pain caused by bulging discs, disc herniations and degenerative disc disease.

Taking the pressure of the discs and joints, through gentle and specifically targeted stretching of the spine, to reduce pain and improve mobility.
